A Tree for Dana: Honoring Her Legacy at Walnut Hill

Just before the Class of 2025 graduation, Walnut Hill School for the Arts held a heartfelt tree dedication ceremony in honor of Dana Chang ’25. A cherry blossom tree was planted near the ACT Building, where Dana spent many meaningful hours immersed in her classes and artistic passions.

Surrounded by classmates, friends, and faculty, the tree was planted as a living tribute to Dana’s enduring spirit, her love for Walnut Hill, and the legacy she leaves behind. The ceremony served as a moment of reflection and remembrance—celebrating the beauty Dana brought into the lives of those around her.

As it blooms each spring, the cherry blossom will stand as a symbol of Dana’s light and creativity, continuing to inspire the Walnut Hill community for generations to come.
